Established in 2024 following 24 years of service in the Marines—21 of which were dedicated to recruiting and earning the esteemed Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 8412 Career Recruiter—I recognized a widespread challenge across the United States. Business owners faced difficulties in attracting young talent, while students and faculty often struggled to connect with local employers and military recruiters. Young professionals found themselves lost in an overwhelming sea of resumes, and law enforcement agencies struggled to reach enough candidates to serve their communities. This platform streamlines the application process, enabling candidates to connect with hiring managers or recruiters almost instantly.
As for our cactus logo, it symbolizes resilience and determination—qualities I learned growing up in Lubbock, TX. Additionally, the word “cactus” comes from the Latin, tracing back to the Ancient Greek word κάκτος (káktos), which Theophrastus used for a spiny plant of uncertain identity. Similarly, many people aged 16+ are still on a journey to discover their own identities and aspirations in life. This idea is to help you find your 1stLinkedJob amongst many links you will have in your lifetime. Thank you for taking the time to read this and best of luck in your search for your 1st Job! Great question, with this application there are no resumes or applications. We are designed to get you in front of the hiring manager and schedule an appointment to interview. The application process will take place upon your arrival unless the HR manager emails you directly an online application.
This is an awesome question! There are two ways an applicant/user will know.
1) On the user's profile, they will have 2 options (Military and Workforce) when the applicant selects Workforce, your company logo will display (as long as zip codes match) if you are hiring, then your LOGO will be highlighted notifying them.
2) As long as you are hiring and your subscription is active. A push notification will go out to each user, that share the same zip code (monthly) via email and text, notifying them.
